The Starfield Newtonian series F/4 Reflector telescopes are very designed with quality in mind.
The Primary mirror is made of BK7 optical glass which is known for its thermal stability. The coated mirror is not only dielectrically coated, but also it has a protective layer of SiO2 (quartz) for durability. Mounted in a cell with six easy to use collimation knobs for easy collimation. The mirror center is also marked which makes using a laser simple. Easily handled by small mounts such as a Skywatcher EQM35, Explore Scientific iEXOS100, iOptron HEM15, and ZWO AM3.
The Linear bearing with 10:1 2 speed control comes standard. Providing enough lifting power for a DSLR or CMOS deep sky camera. A motor can be added for even great automated control! Split Tube rings with felt, to not markup the OTA tube finish, come with a vixen style dovetail with adjustment screws.
It is also easy to add accessories or another dovetail to the top of the OTA with the provided M6 screw holes located on the top of the rings. The inside of the OTA has a matte black interior finish to reduce stray reflection and increase image contrast.
The overall length of the OTA extends past the focuser, to also prevent stay light from entering the telescope and increase overall contrast. An 8x50mm finder scope, Coma Corrector and extension tube is included as well for visual use.
